I'm not sure how Steam automatically made this work because I was under the assumption (with MV at least, I think they changed this with MZ) that new parts had to be added with file names that numerically follow the parts already installed - and I can't even tell what number that should be, because those original parts are still not visible anywhere. I wasn't sure if I would have to dig up the DLC contents and transfer them to my PC or not, but when I went to browse the local files from the Steam Library menu (same one in the screenshot of my previous post) I found a newly created Generator folder! The weird thing is that it contains ONLY the female parts that I just purchased - there are no Male or Kid folders at all - but the purchased parts do appear in the generator and seem to work just as they're supposed to. EASY FIX!!! While I still haven't EVER discovered the original location of a Generator folder, I purchased a character generator pack this morning during the big Steam sale that's going on, and while on my Mac I chose to allow all of my purchases to be automatically installed.
